Vote!

Most Malaysian citizens over the age of 18 are entitled to vote in federal and state elections, but voting was not always a default right for all Malaysians. Although I still can’t vote since I’m not officially 18 yet but it is important for us to vote. It gives you a say on important issues that affect you – from roads and recycling, to education and climate change, to housing and employment. It also gives you the choice to vote for your local and national representatives, if you don’t vote, other people get to choose who represents you. Now that you know how important it is to have your voice heard, please participate in voting because this determine our country’s future.
